ABOUT SHERI NORMAN, RN, BSN, CCRN, CLNC

I am a legal nurse consultant with over 20 years experience interpreting medical records. As the nurse manager of a progressive Level IV Neonatal / Pediatric and Pediatric dialysis units, I have worked on Risk Management teams to evaluate medical records for actual and potential legal litigation.

My background includes a wealth of actual clinical experience in the following areas which, can be particularly important in evaluating certain cases: Pediatrics / pediatric intensive care, Neonatal intensive care, Neurology / spinal cord injury, neurosurgical & trauma intensive care and post surgical anesthesia to include obstetrics & gynecology.

I have also, participated in JCAHO standards evaluations and have written many nursing standards and protocols, which currently remain in place.
